Congratulations Blake!

     On Saturday, August 14th Blake Brittain from the Wauconda gym competed in a Muay Thai bout.  It was a well matched fight which he won via unanimous decision.

    A lot has happened this summer.  First there was the black Belt test for second thru sixth degree.  Thirteen people put months of hard work to the best use.  They proved beyond a doubt that they earned their  ranking. (note:  It takes between two and ten years to move from one Black Belt to another depending on rank.)

    Next came the testing for first degree Black Belt.  Many of the people that tested were moving from jr. Black Belt into the adult level Black Belt.  They have all spent between four and ten years studying their art.  Congrats to all who passed.
