The benefits of martial arts motivates me. The conditioning it offers both physical and mental, I believe are its greatest attributes. Great workouts strengthen your body and the confidence one gains knowing how to defend your life or the life of another really motivates me, not being intimidated by anyone. For women this is especially awesome, because women have the ultimate edge. Simply because nobody would expect a 118 pound female like myself to hit like a jack hammer. I also have a great deal of compassion for people, in that I love to bring out the best in others. Help them to believe in themselves, that they can reach their goals, with hard work and discipline. Martial Arts is also a lot of fun. At Gangi' Martial Arts we have intense workouts, but Shihan makes it fun. He is a very serious teacher, but it is his personality that reflects in his teaching that is so appealing to his students. I think a master should be an approachable person and Shihan Gangi is just that. That is probably why he has so many students.
